Hey Pat- Thanks for the commentary on IdeaX. I'm one of the guys helping to get it up and running. You're right- its hugely important to not just collect ideas, but to actively participate in the conversation- and that is our intent. We're in the first week of the launch- and we're listening very closely and looking hard to see where we can implement ideas that are on the site, or let you know if we have stuff in the works that people may have suggested. In our About page, we tried to lay our our plan (as best as we know today) for how we'll let users know whats up. That will obviously change as more users help us figure out which ideas are important to them. Guess the whole point of my response is that we're trying, listening, and learning as fast as we can so we can find the right rhythm. Would love your continued feedback along the way.

Pat,
It does seem odd. http://bestbuyideax.com/ideas/search/recent looks good. I don't know why they need a separate blog to address the posts when they could just reply in comments. In any event, a good plan (idea) with poor execution (no follow through) is a definite fail
