LeadsCon 2009

by patmcgraw on March 9, 2009

I wasn’t able to make it to this year’s LeadsCon 2009 in Las Vegas but fortunately alot of people did and they are sharing their experiences.? The man behind LeadsCon is Jay Weintraub, a guy I had the pleasure of meeting several years ago at a conference for higher education and someone I know I can always turn to for valuable, unbiased insight and guidance.

The folks over at DoublePositive (a great company to work with) offer a great overview.

If your business is in need of generating qualified leads in order to provide your sales team with a real opportunity to SELL rather than PROSPECT, check out these links and follow Jay’s blog as well as DoublePositive’s blog.? Then make sure you don’t do what I did and miss LeadsCon.? Educational.? Thought provoking.? Great networking.? And best of all, you leave with some practical, relevant and actionable ideas that can make an immediate – and positive – impact on your bottom line!

The economy may not be what we want it to be but there are opportunities out there if you know how to work smart rather than hard.

Leadscon was very informative and Jay has certainly done a great job with growing it over the past year. Next year will be even bigger i am sure.
The highlight for the .edu space was undoubtedly Mara Fineshriber from Western Governor University. She really gets it!

I hope people follow her lead to increase the quality of relationships, the ability for schools and marketers to work together to create win/win situations.

I would also hope the transparency in the .edu world comes together the was she hopes is does. It can, but will certainly take a paradigm shift on both sides.

    Drew,

Thanks for the comments – and I completely agree with you about Mara (Fineshriber) and completely agree with you. Mara was kind enough to provide me with some tremendous insight and deeper understanding in this area.
