Lead Management and Conversion

  • Quality over Quantity

Do you need to slow down, evaluate the impact of your work and (perhaps) identify better solutions?

I did.  That’s why I haven’t posted anything new in some time.  I was doing the same thing over and over,  repeating myself and I wasn’t convinced  that I was making things better.

As a matter of fact, I was concerned that I was just adding the noise.

So I stepped back and started asking “Why” and “What about…” along with “How could we …” and “If we were to do X, would it make a positive difference for others?”

Have you been in too many meetings where people are banging away on their smartphones and laptops instead of being actively engaged in the conversation going on around them?

Have you been more focused on checking things off your To-do List instead of searching for ways to improve things because of the actions you will be taking?

Maybe it’s because of the economy and the fact that so many of us are working in places that have streamlined the workforce – we’re all trying to do so much that many of us seem focused on getting things done rather than improving things.

Your To-do List is not going away, so stop racing to check things off.  Instead, focus on the quality outcomes and, when you can, figure out ways to deliver higher quality outcomes.  They can be a differentiator that produces outcomes that far exceed your goals and objectives.
