Just a short note to explain why I have had a couple of posts entitled “For my friends at Technorati” that included random numbers and letters…I am still trying to ‘claim a blog’ and have now progressed to a point where they are requiring me to include a code in a post that will be seen in my RSS feed.

I have done this a couple of times already – without any luck.

I have also emailed Technorati and submitted tech support requests via their site – without any luck.

I am sure the problem resides with me – I must be doing something wrong since so many others have successfully ‘claimed a blog’. Heck, I had claimed earlier blogs that were at different URLs so I know it can work. It just isn’t working or shall I say it hasn’t been working for several months (actually, over a year) and I am passed the point of simple frustration.

So, I am done with it. Yes, it’s something that should be done…basic blocking and tackling…but I have better things to do. So ends this chapter with Technorati…I wish them well.
